Tabeer for Mothers
Recognizing the need to incentivize the enrollment and retention of out-of-school children, we engage mothers in various sessions designed to enhance their skills and improve their economic stability. These sessions include:
We have numerous success stories of mothers who have increased their monthly income and become inspirations for other community members.
Since 2017, we have expanded Tabeer for Mothers to four schools. To date, we have benefited over 700 mothers through our sessions, leading to increased enrollment and retention rates, as well as improved academic achievement among children.
Additionally, we provide a daycare facility where mothers can leave their toddlers with our trained staff during these sessions. Every Friday, children receive a healthy meal, thanks to kind contributions from our supporters.
CDC was thrilled when Army's Iqra Command & Staff College Quetta, the most prestigious army college in Pakistan, appreciated the CDC Tabeer project and adopted it for their own school and college. This remarkable endorsement highlights the impact and success of our initiative, and we are proud to see Tabeer’s innovative approach to community development being recognized and implemented by such a distinguished institution.

Pawsitive Pakistan is the newest venture of the Community Development Council (CDC), dedicated to advocating for animal rights and welfare. Unfortunately, due to a lack of resources, the project hasn't yet gained the momentum it needs. However, CDC remains committed to standing strongly against all forms of animal abuse and has a longstanding history of supporting other animal rescue organizations.
Our collaboration efforts doubled during the COVID-19 pandemic when many people started abandoning their pets. CDC stepped in to provide foster homes for these pets and facilitated their adoption. Additionally, we contribute funds for the treatment of injured stray animals, ensuring they receive the care they need.
We hope to someday secure sufficient funding to launch an Ezine dedicated to animal welfare in Pakistan, which would be the first of its kind. This publication will further our mission by raising awareness and educating the public on animal rights and welfare issues.
Together, we can build a Pawsitive Pakistan!
